The Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) will run again in March to May 2010. We have begun to collect indications of interest, so please contact survey-help@bristol.ac.uk and let us know if you wish to take part.
Please note: if you have not signed a collaborative agreement for CROS, then this is something that you need to do.
For the moment, all the information on CROS is available from the FAQ section on this site. Instructions for CROS 2010 will be sent to those who have signed up when it becomes available.
In 2009 CROS was comprehensively revised to reflect the changing environment in higher education institutions (HEIs) and the aspirations of the Concordat for the Career Development of Researchers launched in June 2008.
Between March and June 2009, CROS was run by 51 UK Universities via the Bristol Online Survey service.
It is now possible to download the CROS 2009 analysis of aggregated UK results.
The results analysis provides a snapshot of the experiences and attributes of the UK's current research staff in higher education. The report is valuable to those to those looking at the national picture, particularly in relation to implementation of the principles of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers.

CROS is deployed from within Bristol Online Surveys (BOS). Login via BOS to create and launch your survey or view results. You can still access pre-2006 survey results.
