1. Survey Checklist Guidance is provided through a list of activities or actions you may feel you need to undertake in preparing, running and acting upon a CROS survey. The list is for guidance only and should not be seen as "must do"! Hopefully the checklist will also provide reassurance that CROS requires very little effort on your part for a great deal in return. Top 2. How to - Basic Survey Step by step guide to creating a basic CROS survey. Top 3. Collaborative Agreement To take part in CROS, your institution must sign the Collaborative Agreement. As we have changed the way in which CROS works we would like ALL institutions to sign, even if you have participated in the past. Please insert your institutions name and address in Paragraph 1 and sign and return the final page. Top 4. Code of Practice The Code of Practice explains how CROS will work and the responsibilities of those taking part. Top 5. Steering Group Terms of Reference The Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) Steering Group exists to ensure the appropriateness and sustainability of CROS and its associated activities in collecting and reporting the views and experiences of research staff employed in higher education (HE). Top 6. Letter to Vice Chancellors and Principals A letter was sent in 2009 to all UK HE Institutions inviting them to participate in CROS. Top 7. Top 8. General questionnaire guidance The paper provides a general introduction to questionnaire issues.
